Job Summary
This individual will be the monthly face to our customer. You will build a relationship with key contacts, informing them of your service plans/timing. Install and service multiple Microbial Dosing Units (MDUs) in municipal sewer collection systems in designated municipalities in primarily Texas. (Please go to our web site: https://www.in-pipe.com/our-service-what-we-do). You will also be required to travel to Oklahoma periodically to service those accounts as well. In addition to managing all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of equipment, the person must be able to diagnose errors and technical problems and determine proper repair procedures.
We are looking for a self-starter to deliver an ongoing excellent customer service experience. The goal is to drive service success that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention and increases profitability.
This is a full time position, with full benefits, a company truck, laptop, and cell phone. Travel is required, and on occasion, Monday through Friday in a given week.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide service and customer support during monthly field visits and on as-needed installations or emergency dispatches
- Manage all on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks for assigned customers
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
- Record, compile, and report field information and data to support project performance and sustainability.
- Cooperate with technical team and share information with In-Pipe
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations
- Build positive relationships with customers
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven Field Service experience, ideally with municipal/city utilities
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service basic equipment
- English literacy
- Ability to complete work within specific timelines
- While not required, familiarity with wastewater collection systems and treatment plant operations is a definite plus
- Technical aptitude is required, an associate’s degree or certification a plus
- Competency with computer skills, hand tools, and oral and written communication
- MS proficient (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Clean driving record, and a focus on safety first.
- Friendly and customer focused
- Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions
- Must be able to walk, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds
- PVC Pipe fitting knowledge is a plus, but not required

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
