Position Summary:
The Field Service Engineer is an essential member of our Drinkbot equipment team. This role ensures the seamless operation of our equipment at client locations, from installation to maintenance. It requires a technically adept individual who can handle complex issues, efficiently manage installations, and communicate effectively with both clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Handling & Installation:
- Safely and efficiently manage the replacement, installation, removal, and low-priority maintenance of Drinkbot equipment at customer restaurants locations, ensuring adherence to Company standards and customer satisfaction.
- Provide comprehensive training to restaurant operators on the proper use, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of Drinkbot equipment.
- Address minor technical issues with Drinkbot equipment that may not be functioning correctly at the time of delivery. If a resolution is not immediate, initiate a service call.
- Stay updated with the latest Drinkbot equipment advancements and best practices in the field. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and product knowledge.
- Operate handheld devices effectively to maintain accurate records of delivery, removal, equipment movement, and parts inventory accountability.
- Provide timely feedback and reports to the Field Service Manager regarding common issues, potential improvements, and customer feedback.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience with beverage equipment, is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Willingness to travel sometimes on short notice.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Physical Requirements:
- May involve lifting heavy equipment, bending, standing for long periods, and other physical activities related to equipment installation and service.
Package:
- The base salary range is $65,000 to $90,000. Your base salary will be determined based on your experiences. This position will be eligible for bonuses and stock options.
