Founded in 2002, we are a very well established distributor that represents a wide range of manufacturing equipment for the printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing industry, chemical milling industry as well as other high-tech markets. Our machine supply partners are located in Europe and Asia. Our sales territory includes whole North America and is supported by regional sales agents in some territories. The installed machine base is supported by a team of Service Engineers located throughout North America. The head office with warehouse is located in Glendale, Southern California.
Role Description
Based in California the candidate will be responsible for servicing machines at customer locations predominately in California (Silicon Valley and Orange County areas), but will have the flexibility to visit customers throughout North America as needed as well as internationally for equipment training at our supplier locations. Typical responsibilities beyond machine maintenance & troubleshooting, include installation planning, pre-installation site review, detailed onsite progress reports and post installation after sales support.

Requirements
Looking for a person who can work independently and is highly self driven yet feels comfortable using all resources available utilizing various communicaiton techniques to interact with customers, company colleagues and equipment support personnel internationally.
- Extensive electrical trouble shooting capability with mechanical skills is a plus.
- Must be very hands-on and also enjoy mechanical machine work from nuts and bolts.
- Must be able to read electrical, mechanical, pneumatic drawings and trouble-shoot based on such drawings
- Experience handling PLC, OP and TP panel and industrial PC software; programming is not a requirement.
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal and adept at written reports when needed
- Excellent discipline with respect to written reporting & utilization of action lists
- Flexibility to travel a lot, including Asia and Europe for equipment training purposes.
- Manage and update task list daily.
- Engineering Degree or extensively self taught
- Must have passport for international travel and minimum US Greencard holder
- Chinese language fluency would be a great addition

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
