About the Company
Nicol Scales & Measurement, founded in 1931 and recognized as one of "The Best and Brightest” companies to work for in Texas, is seeking to hire a full-time Field Service Apprentice to join our growing team! Our Field Service Technicians provide troubleshooting, repair solutions, and calibrations on industrial scales as well as test equipment.

Trades/Experience that Provide Successful Transferrable Skills:
- Veterans with experience in MOS Codes: 94H Test & Measurement, 91 E Machinist Mate, 805A Electricians Mate, 94A Missile Tech, 12B Combat Eng.
- Knowledge of Industrial Scales
- Electricians
- Calibration Technicians
- Industrial Machinery repair and maintenance
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of Industrial Process Controls
- Training in Mechatronics program
- Automotive or heavy line mechanics
- Welding and Fabrication
- HVAC Experience
Position Requirements:
- High School Degree or GED
- Valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability/willingness to attain or have a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Capable of lifting 50lbs with no physical limitations of your hands, back, or legs
- Pass pre-employment, random, as well as annual drug and background checks
- Strong communication & customer service skills
- Basic computer & math abilities
