Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in SaaS/Cloud Computing Sales focusing on education, state, or local government clients.
  • Experience promoting technology products to the state, local, and education clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience building strategic business partnerships with government customers.
  • Experience working with and managing partners in complex implementation projects, including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.
  • Experience selling infrastructure software, databases, analytical tools, applications software, or cloud solutions.
  • Ability to work with sales engineers and customer’s technical leads to inventory existing software estate, define migration plans, and build business cases for migrations.
  • Demonstrated success with large complex commercial and legal discussions working with procurement, legal, and business teams.

As a Field Sales Representative covering the Public Sector, you will leverage existing relationships with C-level executives, develop relationships, and act as a trusted business partner to understand unique company challenges and goals. In this role, you will promote solutions to make organizations more productive, collaborative, and mobile.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000-$163,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Build and deepen executive relationships with Public Sector customers. Influence long-term strategic direction and serve as a business partner.
  • Discuss and manage the entire cycle, often presenting to C-level executives in Public Sector customers.
  • Lead account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, working collaboratively with Customer Engineers and Google Partners in order to optimize business results in territory and open up opportunities with large Public Sector customers.
  • Understand each customer’s technology footprint, strategic growth plans and business drivers, technology strategy, and competitive landscape.
  • Drive business development, forecast accurately and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
