THE ROLE: Field Marketing Specialist, Public Sector

Job Summary: 

Presidio is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our Campaign and Field Marketing team! Presidio is looking for a Marketing Specialist to help us develop and execute our Public Sector GTM campaigns. In this role, you’ll work with our Public Sector marketing and sales leaders, and relevant OEM partner marketing teams, to create marketing materials and execute programs and events for state and local government customers, as well as educate clients. You’ll also work closely with select field sales teams to create content and messaging, and execute digital demand generation programs and local in-person events. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate, as you’ll live at the crossroads where consistent marketing campaigns meet regional sales priorities, intersecting with strategic alliance partner requirements.   

Travel Requirements:

In this role, you will be expected to travel up to 25%. You can be based in any location in the United States (remote).  It will be based in regions in the Eastern or Central Time Zones with preference for candidates that live in VA, MD or DC areas.

Job Responsibilities:

• Drive execution of integrated marketing plans through regional field sales engagement, striking the right balance between global consistency and local requirements.
• Develop Public Sector messaging and content, and influence corporate content and marketing vehicles to ensure Public Sector language is included as appropriate
• Provide marketing coverage for select OEM partners, in alignment with corporate marketing programs
• Participate in quarterly planning with regional sales leaders to influence and identify the right objectives, strategies and prioritization of relevant alliance partner solutions combined with relevant Presidio services.

Required Skills: 

• Experience in SLED / Public Sector marketing strategies

Additional Desired Skills: 

• Experience working for a technology company

Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
• 2+ years relevant marketing experience
