Work Arrangement:

Remote: This position does not require employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee’s role enables them to work off-site on a permanent basis. This position requires an employee to cover territory visits to dealerships in a reoccurring frequency. The selected candidate will assume territorial responsibility and relocate to within 50 miles of Los Angeles, CA . Relocation may be provided.

The Field Manager Aftermarket professional has territorial responsibility for the administration of the Sales and Service Agreements that exist between GM, its dealers, external fleet customers, and Independent Aftersales Market (IAM) stores. They often act as consultants to the dealers and IAMs, and work reciprocally with them on the development and implementation of their business plans. They may be involved in a variety of initiatives including: developing and implementing marketing initiatives, customer retention, product displays, financial analysis, and training. The territory for this position includes parts of Los Angeles County area.

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as a liaison between GM, it's dealerships, or IAM stores

  • Facilitating mentorship and consulting to ensure monthly / yearly sales and service objectives are met

  • Track dealership Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) or other customer feedback resources to identify and address deficiencies or opportunities

  • Assist in product launches to ensure streamlined marketing and advertising between dealer, IAMs and GM

  • Build and manage relationships

  • Monitor personnel training and ensure compliance with GM requirements/objectives

  • Assist with inventory management, including vehicle and or parts ordering and inventory stabilizing

  • Analyze dealer sales, local market, and competition to identify revenue opportunities

  • Increase sales of GM vehicles and parts to its customers

  • Assist in customer problem resolution

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Additional Description

  • Aftermarket experience within automotive industry

  • Sales experience

  • Ability to travel both day and overnight

  • Proficient with MS office suite

  • Pulling data and creating report experience

  • Strong verbal and nonverbal communication

  • Bachelor’s degree

Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington. 
• The salary range for this role is $ 75,000 - $119,800 . The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
• Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual 
performance.
