Job Description
Peterson has an immediate need for an experienced Field Lube Technician at our Salem, OR location.
Job duties include the following:
- Troubleshoot and perform repairs on heavy equipment and components in the field.
- Perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment including changing oil and filters, service greasing, and light mechanical work.
- Operate overhead cranes, hoists, power tools and other shop equipment in a safe manner.
- Complete service reports, time cards, and other related paperwork.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school (preferred)
- Three (3) to five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in preventative maintenance and service repair of heavy equipment and components and shop work is preferred.
- Class B Commercial Driver's Licenseminimum and valid DOT medical card.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
