Key Responsibilities:
- Perform tests and sampling of environmental media including soil, vapors and groundwater in accordance with Terracon methods and procedures.
- Independently perform routine and non-routine field work at urban and rural project sites, including drilling and remediation work. Self-reliant for planning and equipping yourself for field and office assignments.
- Operate and maintain environmental field testing equipment.
- Ability to drive an F-150 pickup (or equivalent) company vehicle.
- Indoor and outdoor work during all seasonal weather conditions.
- Travel regularly throughout Minnesota project locations with work that may last three to five days at a time.
- Stay up to date with relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations, industry trends, and best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER and current annual refresher.
- Knowledgeable with building systems for conducting building surveys using the MPCA form at this link: https://www.pca.state.mn.us/sites/default/files/c-rem3-01a.docx
- Bachelor's degree or higher in technical discipline practices including Geology, Engineering or Environmental Science, or similar.
- 1+ years of applicable experience in environmental related field.
- Experience that includes field data collection, investigation, and remediation.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving history.
