This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to a wide range of projects, from traffic impact studies and signal design to transportation planning and roadway design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage transportation design projects and transportation infrastructure ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct traffic analysis to optimize traffic flow.
- Lead and coordinate Transportation Engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including transportation planners, civil engineers, and environmental specialists, to develop integrated solutions to transportation challenges.
- Stay updated on federal, state and local transportation regulations and codes, ensuring all projects adhere to these requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field required.
- 10 years of traffic engineering or transportation planning.
- Professional Engineer (PE) and Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (P.T.O.E.).
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Synchro/SimTraffic and familiar with GIS Tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
