Expand your professional career as a Field Engineer with MAU at our client. As a Field Engineer, you will service and support the Eastern Region for all products, customers, and will be responsible for providing technical support for customers throughout the longevity of their machine both on-site and remotely. This is a 50% remote, direct-hire position.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, either mechanical, biomedical, or electrical
- 3.5+ years of experience in servicing CT Imaging Products
- CT technology certification (preferred)
- Must live near an airport
- Experienced in services, repairs, and troubleshooting
- Experienced in repair services within a Human Medical or Veterinary market
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Time management skills
- Excellent oral, written, and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of computer software and programs, specifically Microsoft applications
- Ability to learn and retain precise technical information on our products
- Knowledge of set up functions, data entry, and process information
- Ability to work independently in a busy and sometimes stressful environment
- Ability to lift/carry up to 40 pounds, and push CT system into a clinic
- Ability to effectively use ticketing system for service
- Ability to travel 50-75% into the field
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build a long-term relationship with customers
- Work closely with Sales Representatives, Marketing, and Clinical Support
- Achieve a positive customer satisfaction score
- Support call resolutions on all Tier 2 technical support calls
- Document the corrective actions taken to resolve a problem
- Compile, categorize, tabulate, calculate, and verify data thoroughly
- Offer call support for EMI and on occasion the EHH clients or distributors
- Process, track, and document cost of service for each customer within the system or other methods to track costs
- Answer customer inquiries with professionalism, composure, and a positive attitude
- Stay informed on product changes/upgrades/system bugs
- Maintains knowledge of products and ability to troubleshoot and resolve customer repair related issues
- Coordinate all repairs parts for services, and what needs to be returned
- Ensure proper pricing is applied to all service contracts
- Communicate to Management on-going repair issue
- Assist Sales Reps in creating Repair Quotes using the Quote System; and
- Convert into a sales order once accepted by customer
- Process equipment loaner forms and the appropriate contract on discrete repairs requests by customers
- Coordinate with Technical Services department, process equipment loaner requests from customers
- Support and abide by all policies and procedures of the company
- Act as a member of continuous improvement team undertaking projects
- Seek ways to improve the quality of the company’s products and services
- Perform other tasks as required
