Responsible for coordinating outside plant construction activities that support the buildout and
maintenance of an Outside Plant (OSP) Fiber Network. Works with management, staff and other
business partners to develop project cost estimates and budgets. Monitors enterprise project intake
portals to accept, assign, and close out construction tasks within defined service level agreements
(SLA’s) supporting the deployment and/or augment of the Fiber Network to meet customer needs and
demands. Facilitates updates within internal and external customer job management systems. Works
with moderate guidance.

Core Responsibilities
- Monitors project/job intake portals, updates job and task status
- Develop job cost estimates, monitor costs, evaluates change orders and controls the cost of work in
progress to budget - Coordinates all phases of construction projects including pre-construction meetings, site surveys,
permitting, make-ready, design and documentation, material procurement, contract labor
requirements, network activation and quality control - Monitors performance of construction crews
- Communicates regularly with Project Managers to review job funnels, schedules, and task assignment
- Inspects the quality of work by business partners ensuring that all standards (federal, state, local) are
followed. - Demonstrates safe operation and care of company vehicles. Ensures compliance with safety standards,
participates in regular employer facilitated safety meetings - Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance with occasional night work and weekend work to support
maintenance and repair activity - Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant work experience, well-developed knowledge in outside plant
construction practices and disciplines while still acquiring higher level skills - Must have strong work ethic, strong problem-solving skills and be well organized and reliable
- Strong computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel. Experience with Salesforce is a plus
- Strong fiber/coax network knowledge and experience as well as fiber-optic product knowledge and
application experience is a must - Solid working knowledge with all facets of OSP aerial and underground construction
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast pace, high volume environment with emphasis
on managing multiple aggressive projects and deliverable deadlines
