- Tour the spa/fitness and explain features and benefits of equipment, amenities, relaxation areas and products to all guests.
- Routinely circulate throughout all areas of the spa and fitness. Follow up with guest by using their last name to ensure their utmost satisfaction.
- Must be adaptable and accountable for all actions.
- Ensure a warm friendly welcome to all guests at all times. Greets all guests upon arrival.
- Communicate all other necessary information with colleagues (i.e. birthdays, anniversaries, special requests or restrictions, etc.)
- Handle guest comments and concerns in a timely and appropriate manner
- The interest of each guest is of paramount importance.
- Use the guest name appropriately and communicate to all Spa colleagues.
- Aim to give the guests the best possible service and make each guest feel important
- Maintain cleanliness of all areas in the spa and fitness by regularly dusting, wiping down surfaces that are wet or dirty, polish metals as needed with appropriate cleaning agents.
- Maintain all wet areas clean and in good order by pick up towels, wiping down floors and stocking as needed throughout the day.
- Provide a clean and organized atmosphere in the spa and fitness center.
- Keep locker rooms stocked with amenities, clean, free from dirty towels & debris at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents and floors with appropriate cleaning agents. Adhere to cleaning instructions of cleaning agents before use.
- Inspect all equipment and report any unsafe conditions or maintenance needs to the Spa Director/Manager.
- Provide assistance to guests at all times.
- Handle opening and closing procedures of the spa and fitness facilities.
- Fully versed on the hotel and spa facilities.
- Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures and guest confidentiality.
- Report to work on time in proper uniform and spa dress code.
- Maintain a visibly positive and approachable composure to promote guest and employee interaction.
- Report all issues concerning spa and fitness to the Spa Director/Manager.
- Inform Spa Director/Manager of any purchasing needs or low stock.
- Work flexible days/hours as needed based on business demands of the spa/hotel.
- Certified in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).
- Attend all mandatory and departmental meetings.
- Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in a hotel spa or housekeeping environment.
- Knowledge in and or experience with Forbes 5 Star service standards is preferred.
- Have experience in and a passion for Hospitality.
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
