Female Only Live-In Support Staff

MUST have a MINIMUM 1-year experience working with individuals with special needs.

Join a dedicated team of staff supporting an individual with Developmental Delays. This is in the Carmel Mountain/Poway area of San Diego, California.

We have an immediate opening to work as a Live-inSupport Staff (Female Only). You will have your own bedroom and bathroom. Free rent, plus compensation.

The Ideal candidate has enthusiasm, energy, consistency, patience and/or maturity; has knowledge of individuals with Developmental Delays, can demonstrate person-centered behavioral management skills and is supportive of the special needs of the individual.

Responsibilities include supporting hygiene, assisting the client with cooking, cleaning, household management skills, and life skills with verbal and visual prompts as well as role modeling. Must be able to help schedule and take Client to medical appointments. Live-in roommate will also nurture and develop community connections, work toward independence goals, cultivate hobbies, and more.

This is a paid position with a supported living agency that provides supported-living services to individuals with developmental disabilities. All employment requirements, background checks, etc. must be satisfied. We look forward to hearing from you.

Must have a reliable car, with current car Insurance and Pass LiveScan

CPR/First Aid certificate- company can provide registration to complete once hired Gas reimbursement Paid time off IHSS certified (preferred) Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $ 4,000 per month
