Feed Operations Maintenance Mechanic - $1500 Sign-on BONUS!

Job Type: Full-time - Hourly - Night Shift

Eagle Grove, IA

Monday - Friday 5:00pm - 3:00am - *Hours can be flexible*

Responsibilities:

• Performs general and preventative maintenance tasks that are assigned. Report any concern or deficiencies in the system to a supervisor
• Perform preventative maintenance task as assigned
• Assist in reducing downtime and increase efficiencies and effectiveness of equipment
• Evaluate if equipment will need additional maintenance to keep in full operation in order to eliminate unscheduled down time on production
• Inspect and diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them
• Other duties may be assigned
• Data Entry of completion of tasks
• Communication with production employees on issues and concerns of equipment

• Competent in fabrication of mill equipment and understanding of the functionality equipment and tools used in the feed department
• Must be 18 years of age and high school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in Feed Operations, maintenance, fabrication is preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Fast paced setting regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and vibrations.
• Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes and airborne particles.
• Noise level moderate to loud
• Hours will be based on organizational demand, may include irregular, weekends, and holidays during peak season
• Employee will need to lift up to 75 pounds frequently and maneuver on and off equipment
• Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record
