Maintenance Mechanic - Clinton IA
ADM Cogeneration.
This is an hourly position.
Position Summary:
Perform mechanical maintenance on equipment at a utility sized coal fired cogeneration plant with a heavy emphasis on Maintenance Reliability.
Job Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent with strong fundamental skills (math, reading, writing)
- Experience with and use of technical measuring tools in millwright trade - a plus
- Basic knowledge of machine mechanical systems acquired through training or experience
- Ability to use millwright hand tools and power tools
- Basic welding skills with potential to qualify to be a code welder
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility in accepting change and willingness and ability to work rotating shifts
- Communication (spoken and written) and teamwork skills
- Reliability in reporting to work; willingness to work overtime as required
- Willingness to participate in training to continue developing skills
- Direct industrial experience or high exposure to industrial work preferred
- Knowledge of ADM-Clinton plant - a strong plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. walk long distances, stand for long periods, climb stairs and ladders, work at heights and work in extreme temperature conditions
