About this Position
The Fee Billing Analyst analyzes billing records to ensure accuracy, identifies exceptions and makes adjustments accordingly, investigates and resolves billing discrepancies and conducts monthly validations to ensure billing procedures and controls are adequate according to regulatory requirements.This position can be onsite or hybrid.
The estimated salary range for this position is: 58K - 63K
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Coordinates with internal departments and third parties to ensure clients are billed correctly
- Reconciles reports to ensure accuracy of monthly managed fee-billing process
- Investigates billing discrepancies and works to resolve issues
- This position interacts with other functional areas including, but not limited to: Operations, Operational Assessment, Investment Advisor Representatives, third party service providers
- Knowledgeable in the field of accounting, finance and/or general billing best-practices, preferred
- Able to plan out workload, ensure deadlines are consistently met, and issues resolved in a timely manner
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to effectively anticipate and respond to issues as needed in a dynamic work environment
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving, organization, and prioritization of own work
- Ability to explain and discuss information clearly and concisely
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Billing, operational accounting or equivalent work experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines
- Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills
- Ability to identify problems and formulate solutions
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills related to the successful achievement of departmental goals, including but not limited to software applications
- Should have advanced experience and knowledge using Microsoft Excel
