We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual with commercial driving experience to join our team as FedEx GroundDelivery Driver. As a FedEx GroundDelivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in the success of our logistics operations located in South San Francisco. You will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting packages to their designated locations and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Scan, load, and arrange packages ready for delivery and pick-up
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip delivery vehicle inspections
• Safely operate a delivery vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws and company guidelines
• Verify and document the delivery and pick-up of packages and obtain necessary signatures
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers professionally and courteously
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
• Utilize technology, such as GPS and handheld devices, to navigate routes and track deliveries
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in commercial driving preferred
• Qualified individuals without experience will be considered for the training program
• Familiarity with operating box trucks is a plus
• Ability to safely drive and maneuver vehicles in various weather conditions and tight spaces
• Proficient in using pallet jacks and other equipment for loading and unloading
• Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Familiarity with using navigation tools and GPS devices
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL is not required)
• Must be 21 years or older
• Must pass a background check, drug screening, DOT physical exam, and road test

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $180.00 per day
