Fedex Ground Truck Driver (Class A Cdl) $2500

Agra Transit, Inc. is a FedEx Ground Contractor that pull double trailers with a dolly out of the Billerica, MA area. Agra Transit normally will ship trailers from the Billerica to Hartford, CT. Agra Transit is searching for a Class A CDLTruck Driver that is safe, punctual, and willing to work a night shift.

We have a manager on duty during the day in which they will inspect trucks daily for preventative maintenance issues, handle scheduling, and available on-call at night for drivers to contact at any time.

This role is an integral part of our team. We are looking for an experienced commercial Truck Driver with a CDL (Class A) License and a Doubles Endorsement in the Billerica, MA area.

Night Schedules Available: Sunday-Friday / Monday-Saturday. Scheduling is Flexible.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 1 year plus of tractor-trailer experience
• Clean driving record
• Must have or be willing to obtain doubles endorsement

Pay & Benefits:
-Drivers earn between $300-$350 per day (6th day available)
-Health insurance, dental and vision-$200 towards your monthly health insurance premium on us!
-5 Days PTO after 90 days of employment, 10 days PTO after 2 years of employment

Requirements to be hired:
-Candidate must have 1 year driving experience (Class A)
-Must be doubles endorsed and know how to pull double trailers with a dolly
-Clean driving record- no more than 2 moving violations in 36 months
-Current DOT physical
-Pass background check/ drug testing

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee can be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. This position is performed inside and outside in all weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 150 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
