New Trainees or Experienced Drivers

WE WILL PAY FOR YOUR EXPERIENCE - $1,000 Retaining Bonus offered for candidates with previous Fedex experience who meet all other qualifications. Pay per package compensation and incentives to make as much as $250 per day.

JBC Transportation Inc, a Fedex ground contractor, is seeking immediate full time and part time Delivery Drivers to join our team. All route prep begins daily at 8 am at the Fedex Terminal in Seekonk MA. Drivers are responsible for deliveries and pickups to homes and businesses on assigned routes using our 16-20 foot step vans provided which are loaded daily by Fedex package handlers.

Unexperienced and New Drivers

• $160 daily during the first 2 weeks of training
• $180 daily once training is completed
• $200 daily after 3 months if you are able to deliver a minimum of 130 stops daily with a stop incentive that provides maximum upside.

Requirements

• Drivers have the opportunity to inspect/rearrange the load before dispatch.
• On average drivers are responsible for completing 120-180 stops and will timely communication with dispatch manager of delays or issues. New and unexperienced drivers will be given training and time to work up to this while getting paid
• Drivers will verify package count, take photos, and scan each delivery and pickup while using company provided scanners and tablet technology to verify delivery parameters and efficiently navigate delivery work areas.
• Drivers must be able to lift and move heavy packages (up to 150 lb) using dollies and other company provided handling equipment.
• Drivers must comply with federal/state regulations and Fedex/JBC procedures.
• Drivers must follow policies on safety, demonstrate excellent customer service and on-time reliability, and be willing to hustle to complete the route in a timely fashion.
• Conduct pre and post trip vehicle inspection using app assisted technology

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
• Must be cleared as an authorized worker with proper I-9 credentials
• Must possess a minimum of 1 year experience driving a truck (minimum large cargo van, step van, or straight box truck)
• Must meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements
• Must pass mandatory drug test and background check
• Must have basic English written and verbal communication skills
• Must have the ability to bend, twist, squat, climb in and out of the truck
• Must have the ability to lift up to 150 lbs and drive 60-70 miles daily
• Must have the ability to follow instructions and complete required training
• Must have the ability to work independently and/or as a team member
