FedX Ground (FXG) Delivery Driver Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
• Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Selected candidates are required to complete a background screening in accordance with federal and state laws.
• Able to pass a DOT physical exam and drug screening within 5 days of completing background screening.
• Able to pass FedEx training which includes written test, 2 days of Delivery Driver training and a road test.
• Be comfortable using technology such as a handheld scanner and tablet.

Delivery Driver Requirements:

• Safety minded dependable team player.
• Lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis and maneuver boxed products up to 150 pounds.
• Very frequently, you will need to carry items up flights of stairs.
• Be an effective communicator with management and customers alike.
• Weekday and weekend flexibility is required.

What We Offer:

• Delivery to southeastern Connecticut from the terminal at 29 Green Earth Way, Johnston, RI 02919
• The average work week is 5 shifts, approximately 40-45 hours a week. A typical start time is 7:00 a.m. and shift may vary depending on delivery needs and work area. Shifts are available 7 days a week.
• Full-time
• Eligible for increase and benefits after completion of 60-day probationary period.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Johnston, RI 02919: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work is required.

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
• DOT Medical Card (Preferred)
