Position Information:
The Program/Project Manager will help support upper management in running a federal government program. The PM will be client-facing, help coordinate the work of a team of PMO professionals, and be a critical part of our delivery team.
The successful candidate will act as a broker between the technical teams and the client. The ideal candidate will be working with senior-level management on program support, requirements gathering, technical writing, and project scheduling.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implements processes and policies and prioritizes projects and programs. Directs and oversees an organization's planning function to promote organizational effectiveness.
- Supports the Program Manager with overall planning, direction, oversight, and administration of the contract.
- Ensures full compliance with contract requirements.
- Allocates resources and sets schedules to accomplish program objectives including the quality, timelessness, and costs.
- Implements associated risk mitigation strategies.
- Participates in program reviews and readjusts resources and schedules to accomplish programs.
- Plans and adjusts work operations to meet changing and/or emerging program requirements using available resources with minimal impact on work quality or quantity.
- Facilitates continuous improvement in the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the services provided and integrates problem resolution into ongoing work without loss of workforce efficiency.
- Accomplish program and mission goals by relying on extensive experience and judgment.
- Interface with your team leads and senior Government personnel.
- Interact with your team leads and SMEs to resolve project or technical issues.
- Review and prepare financial/budget reports, as needed.
Qualifications:
- At least seven years of federal program/project management experience.
- Experience with IT modernization and transformation efforts, cloud migration, change management, and advanced analytics.
- Big 4/Tier 1 consultancy experience or similar level experience.
- Experience with government program management practices, reporting, quality guidelines, and financial management.
- Very strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize activities by levels of importance and suspense dates.
- Ability to qualify and mature technologies given internal and external requirements
- Demonstrated success in working with diverse teams of engineers, developers, analysts, and business development professionals.

- This position supports a federal government agency that requires a Background Investigation. The candidate must be able to clear a Public Trust clearance as well in order to commence work. That requires living in the United States for the past three years.
