They are a design-driven company that manufactures engine mounts, chassis modules, and other automotive components. Responsibilities:
The FEA Engineer is responsible for assisting in the product development cycle & analyzing the performance of designs and their respective conformance to requirements:
- Assist in the design of rubber products & structural components
- Create technical data for reviews and presentations based on FEA
- Communicate design and program issues in a clear and concise manner
- Generate data on predicted rate curves, stress/strain, and product fatigue evaluation
- Other duties as assigned
Experience:
- BSE
- Experience using FE Software (Abaqus, Ansys, Nastran, or Hypermesh)
- Experience using Fatigue Software (Fe-Safe or N-code)
- CAD experience (UG NX/NX)
