SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS
Responsible for managing overall operations of the restaurant. Principal responsibilities include, but are not limited to store inventory control, cost control, hiring and management of staff along with general administration, training and development of staff, and bottom line results. Responsible to deliver an exceptional high level of guest service and superior quality of products. Adheres to the Core Purpose and Core Values as established by the Executive Team and Tribal Council.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the activities in the assigned and designated restaurant.
• Is an example of a leader that possesses team spirit, good people handling techniques and the proper work ethics.
• Leads by example, creates an environment for people to be their best, and never walks past a problem.
• Treats all employees with respect and dignity and regulary recognizes and rewards employees.
• Responsible to lead, teach and coach Assistant Managers and ensures a culture of development and success for all employees.
• Handle and resolve Team Member and Assistant Manager issues, and pass on major incidents to the F&B Area General Manager.
• Handle or oversee all issues in regard to Guest realtions, and pass on major incidents to the F&B Area General Manager.
• Ensure all restaurant policies and procedures are upheld to a high degree utilizing all appropriate documents and forms.
• Ensures all employees are familiarized properly and employee file documentation is present as necessary.
• Review and analyze activites regarding labor cost and operational expenses as it realtes to venue goals and budgets.
• Orders or oversees the ordering of products and supplies in such a manner that allows for a comfortable carryover without tying up cash with excess inventory or running out of proprietary items.
• Ensures all cash handling is in accordance with organizational policy, including oversight of team member tip procedures.
• May be required to obtain Certification to transport, operate and train Assistant Managers in catering specific to the venue both at on and at offsight locations.
• Acts as the liaison in local community affairs.
• Collects and evaluates all shift and daily documentation, promptly responding to issues and discrepencies.
• Actively participate with F&B Assistant Director- Fast Casaul in promoting the venue.
• Conducts monthly audits of all shifts to ensure policies and procedures are in effect and uses the monthly audits as a tool to develop plans for improvement.
• Write and monitor weekly schedules for all shifts to ensure optimum coverage and adjust staffing levels to budgeted or appropriate labor percentages. Post schedules in the prescribed or timely manner.
• Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local law to include state health laws and health department directives.
• Attend all mandatory meetings and all other required meetings whenever possible.
• Responsible for maintaining a good attendance record.
• May be required to be a panelist for the Internal Review Board Hearings.

• Available for all shifts, seven days a week.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages all Assistant Manager and Team Members in the restaurant and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. The manager carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problem.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and
• A minimum of 5 years of related General Manager experience or equivalent , or a minimum of 8+ years Assistant Restaurant Manager experience or Degree In Business /Hospitality Management. .
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of the restaurant.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic math and algebra.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of database software, Internet software; Inventory software, order processing systems and spreadsheet software.
• Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s license

Other Requirements:
• Minimum age requirement of 21 years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Work Permit.
• Payment Card Industry Training
• Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) certification.
• Food handler’s permit from relevant government agency.
• Hepatitis A vaccination.
• Available and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Available and willing to work any changes in hours deemed necessary for Business Levels.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, occasionally exposed to tobacco smoke.
