ABOUT THE POSITION - OVERVIEW

The Fast Track Management Program is a management development role designed to give the employee an immersive and extensive business experience across a variety of our Companies and departments. With 6-9 month assignments across multiple disciplines, this program allows the participant to emerge after 3 years with deep business knowledge and developed and tested leadership skills. This role prepares the participant for a leadership role within the organization.

POSITION SUMMARY

The position will rotate through various departments on 6-9 month assignments. These assignments will provide meaningful insight into a wide variety of business functions. Beyond the insights gained in these assignments the position will lead and participate in multiple projects using analytical skills to conduct research, challenge current assumptions, provide new insights, and/or confirming current assumptions are still valid. The rotational design of this position will create strong cross functional relationships. Cross functional collaboration is vital to the success of this position.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales Rotation- learn selling model, selling dialogue, analyze customer characteristics, target adjacent customers
  • Merchandising Rotation-learn the product development process, partner with a Brand Manager, lead research project on the customer
  • Marketing Rotation- eCommerce projects focused on B2B and B2C revenue, analyze digital marketing spend and efficiency, brand marketing opportunities
  • Finance/Business Analytics Rotation-learn accounting and finance processes, participate in the monthly/quarterly close process, lead an analytics project based on business needs
  • Customer Service Rotation-shadow CSR, see how the CSRs take opportunities to upsell, identify more upsell opportunities
  • Logistics/Order Management Rotation-supply chain understanding the flow of port to water to port to rail to arrival, understand systems seek opportunities for improved efficiency, work with buyers/procurement on Pos.
  • Project Management work in various functional area designed to deliver significant process improvements resulting in better efficiency and cost savings
  • Research projects in various functional areas

QUALIFICATIONS

  • This is a great opportunity for a new graduate i.e. undergraduate or recent graduate with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Design, Visual Arts, Finance, Accounting, Marketing or other relevant field of study.
    • Note: Must be an exceptional student with strong GPA, Student Leadership involvement, and impressive internships
