Saturday Only – 6:30 am – 1:30 pm
Description:
Are you looking for an exciting and fun environment, where you get to be outside, meeting new people and talking about and selling our phenomenal products? Then you may be the person we are looking for! This position will work with the Assistant Baker to wrap and label cinnamon rolls, scones, muffins, sweet bars and other products for the Helena Farmers Market. You will work with the owner/manager to assess the varieties and quantities of bread and goodies to bring to each market. Shift is seasonal from April to the end of the season, typically through September.
Saturdays Only! The market runs from 9am – 1pm.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Set up an attractive, inviting, and food-safe market booth displaying a wide
variety of products
- Engage with customers, offer information, answer questions, and generally
encourage them to shop with us
- Ring up customers in Square, take payments
- At the end of the market, break down the vendor booth, pack up any unsold food,
clean booth footprint, and bring it back to bakery
- Communicate hits & misses from each market to the owner/manager.
Brainstorm ways to improve our markets and increase sales
- Must be able to regularly lift 50 lbs
- Outgoing, friendly, comfortable talking to strangers
- Comfortable in all weather conditions
- Sales experience preferred
- Available for all (or almost all) market dates
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and being on your feet all day
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Dependable with reliable transportation

Great Harvest Bread Co. & Café is locally owned and has been serving up phenomenal breads, goodies and sandwiches/salads in Helena for over 17 years!
