Job Details:
Responsible for chicken houses at company pullet farm. The selected candidate should possess a working knowledge of farm (i.e. feeding chicks, walking house), good attendance, be willing to work flexible hours (weekend work is required), be safety minded, must be willing to lift and carry 50 pounds repeatedly and be able to push and pull with as much as 50 pounds of force, must be willing to climb stairs, willing to be flexible in job assignments (i.e. could be moved to any of 3 farms), possess a valid Driver's License in good standing, as well as be willing to perform other duties as assigned. Tractor experience a plus. Some inside and outside work is required.
Scheduled Hours of work is 545am to 215pm
Applicants may not have any type of Avian species (Chicken, Turkey, Geese, Duck, Parrott, Parakeet, etc.) residing on their property. Applicant must disclose if they have any Avian species on their property prior to attending Tyson Poultry Farms in person.
Rehiring Criteria: Applicant must not have worked for Tyson more than a total of 3 times prior. Applicant also must have completed a minimum of 180 days since last employment with Tyson.
