Safety and Records
-Maintain a safe and safety conscious workplace
-Ensure any unsafe situation, be it animal or environmental, is immediately corrected.
- Actively work with employees and lead by examples to reinforce safe practices.
-Pursue a culture of safety and maintenance inspections to ensure possible problems are solved beforehand and maintain records of such inspections. Such inspections are to be performed to company policy standards.
-Must be honest, timely, and efficient.
Operations and Maintenance
-Maintain efficiency of operations year-round based upon a changing, daily work schedule based upon seasonal requirement, land preparation, planting, livestock production and equipment maintenance.
-Manage farm assets, infrastructure, equipment and the maintenance of said equipment to ensure proper and safe functions. Responsible for recommending machinery and equipment purchases. Managing assets to include (but is not limited to) ordering supplies, seeds, fertilizer, and chemicals to obtain best pricing and accessibilities.
-Determine labor needs; determine the need for additional in-house staffing and help training of employees for optimum safe efficient daily work flows in additional to scheduling seasonal work activities.
-Maintain the appearance of all farm locations. This includes putting up hey, repairing fences, trimming tree lines, mowing pastures, roadsides, removal of garbage & weeds, etc.
-Focus on effective planning and time management to direct and coordinate farm activities such as planting, irrigation, chemical application, harvesting, land management and record keeping.
- Work with the other staff to ensure Safe, effective, and timely coordination of resources
-Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish goals while monitoring and controlling resources within operating budgets.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
