Family Therapist - Telehealth

evidence-basedWholeview Direct a new OASAS licensed treatment program that provides addiction services using a fully virtual protocol and is based in New York, NY. This practice is seeking Masters Level Clincians (License Marriage and Family Therapists LMFTs, Licensed Mental Health Counselors LMHC's and MHC-LPs, and Social Workers MSW's) who are experts in the provision of family therapy using evidence-based interventions. This may include Multidimensional Family Therapy (MDFT), Brief Strategic Family Therapy (BSFT), Attachment-based Family Therapy, Functional Family Therapy (FFT), and/or Multisystemic Therapy (MST). Our program provides exceptional care for people struggling with addiction and mental health challenges and we are seeking team members who share our passion!

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments
• Craft plans for care in collaboration with patients
• Conduct individual, group, couples and family psychotherapy using evidence based practices
• Include family members and supportive significant others in treatment sessions
• Coordinate with other service providers
• Participates in staff training, program development, and program evaluation, with emphasis on creating an environment conducive to patient’s needs
• Participate in group and individual supervision to ensure fidelity to evidence-based practices

Qualifications

Education: LMFT, LMHC and NYS License or MFT or MHC and Limited Permit

Experience: 1-2 years of treatment of substance use disorders

Skills:

• Expertise in multiple evidence-based practices
• Expertise family therapy
• Experience providing LGBTQ-affirming therapy a plus
• Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive
• Must be able to provide care on some evenings
