Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Family Partner to provide community-based support and intervention to families and caregivers of youth experiencing mental health and/or substance use crises. Also, the person in this role has lived experience with mental health and/or substance use needs. Qualifications: Must have High School Diploma or equivalent; NC Certified Peer Support Specialist required; Valid, unrestricted driver's license, and current automobile insurance are required.

Minimum Hourly amount $18
Median Hourly amount $19

Location: Charlotte, NC
We are seeking a full-time Family Partner specialist to provide the following services:
- Family support and advocacy: Provides emotional support, education, and advocacy to families and caregivers of youth experiencing mental health and/or substance use crises. Helps families navigate the mental health and substance use treatment system and access appropriate services and resources.
- Crisis intervention: Provides crisis intervention services to youth in crisis and their families. Works as part of a team to assess the individual's needs and develop a plan of care that includes immediate support and stabilization.
- Communication and collaboration: Facilitates communication and collaboration between families, mental health and substance use treatment providers, schools, and other community stakeholders to ensure coordinated care and support for the youth in crisis and their families.
- Education and outreach: Provides education and outreach to the community to raise awareness of mental health and substance use issues and promote prevention and early intervention.
