Family Paralegal

```Job Overview:```We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. As a Paralegal, you will provide essential support to attorneys by conducting legal research, transcribing documents, and managing case files. Your strong organizational skills and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our legal department.

```Duties:```
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Transcribe legal documents, including client interviews and court proceedings
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, such as briefs, contracts, and pleadings
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and easily accessible
- Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for trials, hearings, and depositions
- Coordinate with external parties, such as clients, witnesses, and experts
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Utilize document management systems (e.g., iManage) to store and retrieve case-related information
- Assist with project management tasks related to case assignments

```Requirements:```
- Proven experience as a Paralegal or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Proficient in conducting legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Strong transcription skills with attention to detail
- Familiarity with document management systems (e.g., iManage) is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Experience in interviewing clients or witnesses is a plus
