The Full-Time Family Nurse Practitioner position at Recovery Consultants of Atlanta is a dynamic role that involves comprehensive patient care. From assessment to treatment and education, you will play a vital role in managing acute and chronic health needs for individuals and families. By demonstrating expertise in various medical conditions and interpreting diagnostic studies accurately, you will contribute to the well-being of our clients. Your responsibilities will also include the management of general medical and surgical conditions based on knowledge of the indications, contraindications, side effects, interactions and adverse reactions, ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmacologic agents and treatment modalities. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you maintain accurate, complete, concise and timely documentation in the electronic medical record. In this Leadership role, you provide day to day supervision of support staff with respect to individual patient management. You serve as an advocate for patients and families in navigating the health care system.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program
• Active RN and APNP license in the State of Georgia
• Active board certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Family
• Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to upon hire
• CPR certification ad advanced life support certifications if relevant to practice area (ACLS, PALS)

WORK SCHEDULE FOR A FAMILY NURSE PRACTITONER

This full-time position is onsite and typically works from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
