Job Summary:
Large academic medical center is seeking a Family Medicine Program Director to support their well-known, long standing Family Medicine residency program in Savannah, GA at Memorial Health University Medical Center.Qualified Candidates:
- Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of faculty experience in an ACGME accredited Family Medicine Residency Program
- Have at least 3 years of GME administrative experience prior to appointment
- Committed to full spectrum Family Medicine
- Interest in developing and supporting rural track Family Medicine Programs
- Have strong administrative and team building skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Combination teaching and clinical responsibilities
- Participation in scholarly activities, which may include peer reviewed funding, publication of original research or review articles in peer-reviewed journals, publication or presentation of case reports or clinical series at scientific society meetings, or participation in national committees or educations organizations
