Job Description: Family Medicine Physician
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our dynamic medical team. As a Family Medicine Physician at our clinic, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions. Your expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining the health and well-being of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, medical histories, and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions, ranging in complexity.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that encompass medical, lifestyle, and preventative measures.
- Manage an average of 14-16 patients per day, adjusting based on the complexity of cases.
- Demonstrate proficiency in patient-centered communication and provide clear explanations of diagnoses, treatment options, and expected outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records.
- Prioritize women's health concerns and demonstrate an interest in providing exceptional care in this area.
- Allocate time efficiently for 4 patient-facing 8-hour days and 1 administrative day, with some flexibility in scheduling.
- Participate in continuous medical education to stay current with advancements in medical knowledge and practices.
- Uphold the highest ethical standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Board certification as an MD or DO in Family Medicine.
- Valid and unrestricted medical license in Vermont.
- Strong clinical acumen and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
- Experience or demonstrated interest in women's health is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based care model.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Central Vermont Medical Center - Family Medicine (Mad River)
UVMHN- Central Vermont Medical Center is recruiting for a full-time Family Medicine physician to join our practice in the Mad River Valley area of Vermont. This is a practice with deep community roots. The location is ideal for the outdoor enthusiast! The Valley is home to Sugarbush and Mad River Glen ski areas providing 4 seasons of activities from skiing, hiking, golf, mountain biking, fresh water swimming holes... the list goes on! This practice serves a diverse population of patients who live there year round or are seasonal residents from all over the world. This is an ideal practice for a physician who wants to be the "town doc", seeing patients of all ages and developing long term relationships. There is also opportunity to teach medical students from the University of Vermont.
There are ample leadership opportunities at the local and health network levels. The practice enjoys a close-knit culture that fosters collegiality and partnership between both staff and providers alike.
