Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join a growing practice in Portsmouth, VA. The incoming Physician will provide health care services to the community members who have limited access to quality care.

Schedule for the Family Medicine Physician

• Full-time: Monday through Friday
  

• NO CALL
  

• Salaried position, paid bi-weekly
  

Key duties and responsibilities of Family Medicine Physician

• Seeing 15-20 pts per day
  

• Manage chronic conditions, evaluate and treat medical conditions, and screen for the onset of new health related conditions
  

• Collaborate with other primary care providers when needed
  

• Examine, diagnose, treat, or prescribe courses of treatment within the scope of training, experience, and privileges.
  

• Order diagnostic tests as applicable and request consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated.
  

Requirements of Family Medicine Physician

• Degree: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)
  

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
  

• Licensed in VA or willing to obtain
