Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) hospital system invites practicing Internal Medicine physician Family Medicine physician to apply for outstanding Hospital Employed Faculty position. Eastern Connecticut Health Network Residency Program (ACGME accredited site) is a three-year program with 6 residents per year in its eleventh year located in picturesque Manchester, Connecticut. This prominent community-focused site provides expert clinical-academic education-training by a collaborative-stellar team of core Faculty Physicians. You will work in conjunction with the Program Director to continue to develop and implement medical education with a Monday through Friday work life balance schedule teaching in the outpatient faculty practice site, some clinical time, and with protected administrative time. We are seeking an internal medicine physician and/or Family Medicine Faculty Physician who is enthusiastic to educate residents and medical students in a supportive professional and rewarding community work environment. Eastern Connecticut Health Network faculty members also participate in campus-wide educational activities. Requirements:
Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician and/or Family Medicine Physician with preferred 2 years of core faculty experience or related academic leadership experience
Connecticut Federal DEA and Controlled Substance License (or soon eligible)
