Family Law Litigation Attorney

Firm:
A Family Law Firm needs an experienced Family Law litigator, for either contract or part-time work, and likely leading to full-time work. Candidate located in Bay Area, Contra Costa County, and/or Southern California, with three plus years of focused Family Law experience, preferred.
Looking for self-starter who has high standards, possesses excellent writing skills, and a keen intellect. Opportunity to set your own hours subject to appearance needs. Position is fully remote. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Legal Solutions, Lexis/Westlaw, and Clio, a plus.
Expected Duties:
Ideal candidate should have three or more years of experience in Family Law. Candidates should have significant, focused, experience in all aspects of litigation since the successful candidate will be working independently, with limited supervision, on:

• Pleadings, motions (or RFOs), declarations, points and authorities, and all aspects of litigation and discovery.
• Online research.
• Settlement and trial briefs.
• Evidence to be introduced at hearings and trials, to include working on exhibits.
• Making court appearances on assigned cases.
• Working independently with clients.

Need to be admitted to California Bar, have California Driver's license, and have insurance for vehicle they will be driving to hearings (when Covid-19 restrictions are lifted).
