Family Crisis Center Advocate
Our advocates work with victims of both sexual and domestic violence; including Men, Women, and Children. We have two sides to our agency we have our Domestic and Sexual Violence Advocacy side, and then we also have our Childrens Advocacy side. Advocates work with clients to help support them through life’s challenges. Both sides of the agency do primary advocacy, this includes things such as taking hotline calls to help answer questions to the best of our ability and assist how we can, accompanying clients to court, helping walk them through protection orders, finding resources for housing, and other necessities. On top of advocacy work our Child Advocacy side also conducts forensic interviews based on referrals from police and social service partners.
This work takes compassion and dedication. Our agency does conduct background checks as well as drug screening due to the nature of the job. If you are wanting a meaningful and fulfilling career we encourage you to apply.
