Family Assistant For Family Of 5 In The South Park Area

Charlotte's Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the South Park Area finding a Full-Time Family Assistant for their soon to be Family of 5, 9-year-old twin girls, and a baby due in April. The Family Assistant would typically be needed Monday - Friday 10:00 am - 6:00 pm with the flexibility to come in late and stay late on occasion.

The best Family Assistant would be self-motivated, friendly, reliable, and proactive. Ideally, the Family Assistant would be experienced in managing a home and anticipating the needs of a family while providing childcare. Mom is a SAHM and is looking for a Family Assistant who will collaborate with her on all the daily happenings and divide and conquer the day. Acting as a second set of hands, the Family Assistant will aid the mom in fulfilling the daily tasks associated with running a household and looking after three children.

The Family Assistant will help provide transportation for the twins to their various after-school activities. During their free time, the twins enjoy playing with neighborhood friends, baking, and doing arts and crafts. Upon the baby's arrival, the Family Assistant will support the mom by tending to the baby's daily needs and engaging them in age-appropriate development activities. Whenever the mom has appointments and is away from home, the primary duty of the Family Assistant will be looking after the baby.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children (including transportation for the older children and for the infant feeding, changing, and napping)

• Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the children

Household Duties Include:

• Families laundry

• Light meal prep

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher

• Light tidying

• Keeping pantry and children's closets organized

• Grocery shopping and running errands

• Emptying diaper trash and family trash as needed

• Maintaining a schedule using a shared calendar

• Transport children to various activities and appointments

Pets: The family has a very friendly and excitable black lab that loves to give hugs when someone first arrives. The Family Assistant will be responsible for letting her in and out throughout the day, occasionally feeding and taking her for a walk.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte's Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver's license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

• Must be up to date on all childhood vaccinations, the annual Flu Vaccine, and TDAP before starting the position.

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts January 2024

• Legal pay is offered at $25.00 - $35.00 an hour, negotiable depending on experience
