Summary:
Maryland Care Management, Inc., is searching for an enthusiastic Community Engagement Coordinator who is a self-starter with a problem-solving mindset. In this role, you can support the Community Engagement Team and will be responsible for engaging community stakeholders (advocacy groups, members, etc.), service providers (hospitals, FQHC's, etc.) and faith groups to identify and address issues, concerns, ways to improve services and communication as they relate to the Maryland Physicians Care community stakeholders.
This position will work in close conjunction with the organizations partner agencies in Western Maryland, Eastern Shore or Baltimore City to ensure consistent messaging throughout the respective region. This position is directly responsible for managing and coordinating, in conjunction with the Manager, regular engagement with the respective region's community partners. This position is expected to provide a level of expertise, guidance, and consultation for the department in the area of community relationships, partnerships, and organization.

Knowledge and Skills:
• Knowledge of community resources within assigned region.
• Ability to facilitate meetings with key community stakeholders and other service providers.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Strong organizational, planning, ability to work in a variety of settings with culturally diverse persons and communities with the
ability to be culturally sensitive and appropriate.
• Ability to successfully utilize Microsoft Office 365 software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and common computer and
office hardware.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and/or task simultaneously.
Education and Work Experience:
• Work requires a professional level of knowledge in Community Engagement/outreach as required through the completion of
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Work requires 2-4 years of Medicaid managed care experience and/or a minimum of 2 years Medicaid community
outreach/organization experience.
