Job Overview:
The Facility Supervisor supports real estate and facility management in coordinating with operations, accounting and finance, tax, procurement / subcontract administration and accounts payable. This position will also be responsible for special projects that arise from time to time, supports facility planning and operations, evaluates various business processes and policies and recommends enhancements that may result in financial and operational efficiencies. This position also participates in key corporate initiatives to ensure that best practices are implemented, resources and processes are optimized, and efficiencies are achieved. Will help identify areas for improvement and growth and assist in reviewing strategic efforts and analyze effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- The Facility Supervisor provides overall support on a variety of facility projects and initiatives, including operations and ongoing management of multiple department budgets.
- Analyzes budget vs. actual monthly, quarterly, and annually to ensure financial information has been recorded accurately. Is facility point of contact for operations inquiries on spend activity and general ledger coding.
- Reconciles and prepares documentation for facility rent / lease payments
- Monitors and reconciles facility operating expenses, CAM, property insurance / taxes
- Prepares capital asset requests and creates fixed asset setups
- Monitors depreciation schedule of fixed assets including disposition of capital assets
- Prepares purchase requisitions for miscellaneous facility spend and performs supplier / subcontractor invoice management, dispute resolution and processing.
- Purchase Card activity as required
- The Supervisor will work closely with real estate & facility management to develop and update business initiatives.
- This position reports to a Director.
Basic Qualifications:
- A qualified candidate will have up to 5 years of business relevant experience.
- Must have strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word and is willing to learn other technical tools quickly.
- Must have good time management and audit skills and can organize work and projects to meet deadlines set by others.
- Be able to communicate information, ask questions, check for understanding, and build team effectiveness skills within his or her own work team.
- A wide degree of initiative, creativity and latitude is expected.
