Job Description Summary
Using established cleaning procedures, chemicals, tools and techniques, maintains sanitary conditions in the Bathrooms, Lunchroom, and Locker Room, ensuring bacteria and housekeeping are at acceptable levels.
The job's main function is to clean and maintain sanitary condition in the employee facilities such as: Lunch Room, Restrooms, Locker Rooms, Hallways, and Stairways.
Job Description

• Maintains safe work practices at all times and participates in safety programs.

• Cleaning restrooms including floors, stalls, urinals and toilets, sinks, fixtures and walls.

• Stocking restrooms with paper and soap.

• Sweeping, mopping and waxing hallway and cafeteria as required.

• Maintaining a clean and sanitary lunchroom thorough cleaning of tables, counters, floors and walls; emptying garbage cans and changing liners.

• Washing windows and doors.

• Basic cleaning of Warehouse offices and Break room, Maintenance, Personnel and Supervisors offices.

• To include dusting and emptying of trash.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Proper use of Safety signs and Barricades.

• Other duties as assigned by Team Leader.

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals usage and techniques.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write accurate information on simple forms in English. Ability to effectively present or listen to information in one-on-one and small group situations with all other employees of the organization in English
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions like chemical usages.
Ability to deal with problems involving safety and sanitary issues etc..
