Primary Functions
- Provide front desk support by answering phones and greeting visitors.
- Ensure all visitors are checked in and issued visitor badge.
- Check out and track access control cards for vendors and visitors
- Monitor 9-1-1 calls made from campus and verify if valid.
- Assist with access control system and building security.
- Maintain building key/fob inventory and
- Provide keys and access control for new hires.
- First point of contact during an emergency for the administration building.
- Maintain Fire Binder and ensure records are current.
- Coordinate and assist with scheduling meeting rooms/conference center and set
- Coordinate and assist with scheduling routine maintenance & janitorial services.
- Prepare facility and maintenance invoices and credit card logs for
- Maintain records of facility equipment and maintenance
- Assist in developing forms, databases and spreadsheets as
- Assist in research, development and implementation of new processes and
- Other duties as may be assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
Educational, Training, and Licensure Requirements
- High school diploma, or
- One (1) year as an administrative assistant preferred.
- Valid Kansas drivers' license and good driving record required
Physical Requirements
- Sitting at a desk for extended periods of time.
- Constant use of overall vision with continuous reading and close-up work.
- Hand and finger dexterity for frequent repetitive writing, typing, grasping, reaching, and pulling.
- Hearing and talking skills in person and on the phone.
- Able to perform significant, prolonged, and frequent amounts of walking, standing, sitting, stooping, squatting, bending, twisting, reaching, and kneeling.
