Facilities/Grounds Team Member with housing

Mt. Lebanon is one of the largest Christian church camps in the nation. We host over 1,200 children and teen campers each week during the summer and retreat groups of all ages throughout the year. We are located in a 520-acre urban forest in one of the most scenic locations in the Metroplex. The camp is owned by Dallas Baptist Association and a clear commitment to Biblical teaching, active church membership, and other faith-oriented principles is at the core of our service to churches, schools, and other groups. Staff housing and other benefits are sometimes available.

Our dedicated staff is here to create a safe, fun, and beautiful atmosphere where people can come to know God and grow in their walk with Christ. Our grounds and facilities team are central to this mission. This is meaningful, fulfilling - and hard! - work, with a close knit, family & faith oriented team in a wholesome, scenic environment. Extensive background checks, child protection training and reference checks will be conducted for the safety of campers per Texas law.

```Responsibilities```

- Develop and implement comprehensive grounds & facilities management plans with other Physical Operations Team Members

- Work with team on all aspects of grounds & facility maintenance, including repairs, renovations, and upgrades

- Manage maintenance staff or external contractors as necessary

- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards

- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs

```Requirements```

- As a Christian ministry, each Team Member should pursue a growing walk with Christ both personally and as an active member of a Southern Baptist-affiliated church or a local congregation of like belief and practice.

- Summer camp background or understanding of camp ministry a plus.

- Proven experience in facilities, grounds, mechanical or a similar roles

- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.

- Excellent leadership, supervisory, relational, and guest service skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Strong problem-solving abilities

- Able to handle physical exertion and activities such as lifting, bending, balancing, and other necessary skills

- Use tools and equipment appropriate to the position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
