About the Position: Inspect facilities, review construction specifications, coordinate project work utilizing quality assurance process and evaluate performance of major systems such as heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical and structural as well as develop and maintain safety programs.Qualifications:

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience assisting with the coordination of work projects and evaluating work performance on major complex systems such as heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical and structural; experience reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints and applying practical mathematics; experience reviewing quality assurance processes of maintenance, repair and construction work; and experience assisting with implementing and evaluating safety programs.

Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as facility management, project management or engineering. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.). (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
