As a Facilities Mechanical Engineer - Mechanical Process Area Coordinator your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Designs and oversees the implementation of facility expansion, layout, system capacity management and forecasting, and quality controls to ensure smooth operation and implementation of initiatives.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, Intel Master Construction Specs and Intel Master Design Specs..
  • Communicate tactical concepts across a wide range of employees, engineering peers to operational technicians to management.
  • Lead Mechanical systems startup, FAT and commissioning procedure development and execution.
  • Plan and prioritize multiple deliverables to keep projects on schedule.
  • Coordinate construction activities with systems owners.
  • Own new assets integration into business systems.
  • Own qualification and workaround WPs.
  • Partner with strategic engineers to support design as needed.
  • Document construction related issues and partner with commissioning manager and FCE on resolution.
  • Support operations team as needed or assigned.
  • Provide mentoring and training for team members on construction management policies.

Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 4+ years of experience in areas such as facilities HVAC, exhaust, chillers, boilers, dryers, heat exchangers, compressor systems, chemical/Mechanical Engineering principles, pumps, valves, flow calculations, and chemical analytical testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master of Science degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 3+ years of experience in areas such as facilities HVAC, exhaust, chillers, boilers, dryers, heat exchangers, compressor systems, chemical/Mechanical Engineering principles, pumps, valves, flow calculations, and chemical analytical testing.
