Job Summary:
Facilities/Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for conducting general maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures. You will inspect different equipment and perform basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in facility maintenance, be skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read and understand blueprints and repair manuals. Have basic understanding of plumbing, electrical and carpentry.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to;
- Conduct routine facility inspections.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- Work with external vendors on projects, routine services, and maintenance needs.
- Protect the company's property, staff, and members by maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquires for maintenance or repair needs in a timely, friendly, and accurate manner.
- Repairing equipment, structures, plumbing, electrical as necessary.
- Collaborate with other employees and leaders to evaluate and implement the appropriate facility and safety needs of each facility.
Requirements;
- 3-5 years in similar or related work field.
- Skillset to operate and diagnose facility equipment.
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools. "Saws, drills, wrenches, etc."
- Ability to take apart equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to maintain focus while working individually as well as in a team environment.
- Professional presentation and attitude.
- Strong organizational and follow up skills.
- Eye for detail.
- Experience performing routine facility maintenance.
- Ability to work well with others with a professional and friendly attitude.
