Facilities - Junior Mechanic

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Provide preventative maintenance to Agency vehicles and inspections.
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION
HS Diploma or equivalent required. Mechanic certifications required and three years on the job experience working with Ford vehicles.
JOB TASKS
1. Maintains strict adherence to work schedule, particular at start of shift, to ensure vehicle maintenance
2. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on Agency vehicles
3. Troubleshoot and repair Agency vehicles
4. Perform weekly inspections on Agency vehicles
5. Complete daily maintenance and repair logs
6. Maintain and secure work tools
7. Clean and maintain work area
8. Participate in building maintenance projects as assigned
9. Ensures compliance with all required state and federally mandated background and exclusion checks including but not limited to criminal history background investigation (fingerprinting), Central Registry, Child Abuse Record Information (CARI), and motor vehicle checks.
10. Ensures compliance with wearing a mask when mandated by State, Federal, and Licensing authorities during a public health crisis/pandemic.
11. All other duties as assigned
SHIFT
M-F flexible hours, some evenings required.
