Facilities Custodian

5 day work week, 4 hour shifts, between 6:30am and 5:00pm

Since 1961, Vaughn has been providing electric water heaters for the utility industry, and more recently to the plumbing and heating markets as well. Vaughn is considered a pioneer because for over 60 years, Vaughn has developed products specifically to meet the changing needs of electric hot water applications. We are currently looking to add a new member to our facilities team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning of office areas
• Maintaining employee breakroom and uniform area
• Cleaning of restroom facilities
• Light landscaping work - raking, leaf blowing, weed whacking
• Trash and recycling removal
• Assist production team in maintaining neat and orderly workspaces
• Occasional use of company vehicle for shop errands
• Identify potential areas of concern for maintenance team
• Maintaining an accurate inventory of cleaning supplies for reorder
• Take instruction and direction from supervisors
• Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines and procedures

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous facilities/cleaning experience a plus
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
• Reliable mode of transportation
• Trained on forklift or willing to be trained
