Facilities and Supplies Technician

LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is currently seekingindividuals to join our team as a Facilities and Supplies Specialist in Dunwoody, GA. This position is responsible for activities related to thedaily cleaning and maintenance of the facility and grounds as well as ordering,receiving and expensing supplies.
Responsibilities Include(but are not limited to)
- Inspect company facility and grounds daily to ensurecleanliness and safety of all areas
- Make repair and maintenance recommendations to the RegionalManager
- Coordinate and monitor vendor work at the facility,ensuring all work performed by the vendor is properly completed andappropriately billed
- Coordinate the ordering, receiving and expensing activitiesof the district
- Prepare weekly and monthly inventory counts to reconcileinventory in the region
- Prepare supplies needed for blood drives
- Perform inspection of vehicles and provide cleaning asneeded
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license. Must also meet and maintainLifeSouth driver's eligibility requirements
- Ability to use various floor care machines and otherelectronic equipment necessary to facilitate daily cleaning and maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safetyrules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Interact professionally with all customers, both externaland internal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and inwriting
The Ideal Candidate WillPossess
- Two years of facilities experience
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Knowledge of building and grounds maintenance, includingthe daily and overall upkeep of all assigned areas

This is a full-time position. Starting salary range is $16.00 - $17.60 anhour. Criminal background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen required upon conditional offer of hire.
